Glycerine (Certified organic)

Glycerine provides numerous benefits to the skin, most notably its ability to act as a humectant - attracting moisture from the atmosphere to improve skin hydration and helping to visibly plump the skin. The humectant and moisturising properties of glycerine along with its emollient effects help keep the skin feeling soft, supple and smooth, maintaining skin hydration and supporting skin barrier repair. There are various sources of glycerine (clear, syrupy and odourless) which are either synthetically produced or naturally derived from animal or plant fats and oils. We use certified organic glycerine derived from flaxseeds that have been farmed organically.

Glyceryl Caprylate

A natural preservative and co-emulsifier derived from glycerin and plant fatty acids, also used for its emollient and moisturising properties.

Gotu Kola

A herbaceous perennial also known as Indian Pennywort and Asiatic Pennywort, Gotu Kola is native to India and southern US, and grows in tropical and subtropical parts of Australia, Africa and South America. Traditionally renowned as a ‘Rejuvenator’, owing to its diverse group of natural healing compounds, such as tannins, flavonoids and phytosterols. Gotu kola is an ancient Ayurvedic remedy that has been used for a variety of conditions, most notably in treating wounds and skin problems. Grapefruit essential oil

The Pink Grapefruit is a recent hybrid between Sweet Orange (Citrus Sinensis) and Pomelo (Citrus Maxima) cultivated in the West Indies. The oil is extracted from the fruit rind through the method of cold pressing. It is renowned as being exceptionally uplifting and reviving, making it valuable in states of stress and depression and in soothing a tired and overstimulated nervous system. Due to its depurative and diuretic properties, Grapefruit oil also acts as a lymphatic stimulant making it useful for detoxification, water retention and cellulite.
